01 / Equipment

Which trailer or truck can I plan?

Road mode includes a standard 13.6 m EU trailer, a 13.6 m mega trailer and a 7.5 m rigid truck. Select a known equipment type, compare allowed equipment combinations automatically, or enter custom equipment dimensions and payload.

Verify usable space, door opening and payload against the vehicle you will receive. The automatic planning cost is not a live haulage rate, vehicle booking or proof of the cheapest possible transport option.

02 / Cargo rules

Can I mix pallets, cartons and crates?

Yes, when each handling unit can be described as rectangular cargo. Enter a separate row for each packed size, gross weight and handling rule. Include pallet height and overhang, and use orientation, floor-only, non-stackable and maximum top-load settings where required.

Review the proposed positions, support and unplaced cargo after calculation. Set a shrink allowance when your loading conditions need clearance; the tool cannot infer local handling movements from cargo dimensions.

03 / Handover

What do the loading metres and sequence show?

Loading metres describe the trailer floor length used by the proposed arrangement. Review this alongside volume use, floor coverage and payload. A space figure alone does not establish axle balance or legal road weight.

The numbered sequence includes placement information and running weight. The PDF contains the manifest, unit drawings, sequence, utilisation and stacking rules. Check access, handling equipment and any delivery-order requirements with the loading team before using the handover.

04 / Scope and access

Does this trailer calculator check weight distribution?

It checks entered cargo weight against equipment payload, but does not calculate axle loads, centre of gravity or a balanced weight-distribution plan. It also does not calculate cargo securing or lashing, simulate every loading manoeuvre or guarantee globally optimal packing. Confirm the actual vehicle, route limits and securing requirements separately.
